Iron oxides are mineral pigments that create the browns and taupes in each shade, helping give the pencil its natural-looking color. Non-nano titanium dioxide adds opacity and brightness without the need for synthetic dyes.

Which shade should I choose?
Soft Taupe for light blonde to blonde hair, and it may also suit greying hair. Deep Taupe is a light to medium brown, right for dirty blonde through medium brown. Deep Brown is our deepest shade, made for dark brown or black hair. Reviewers consistently tell us the color match is the best they have found.
Do I need a separate spoolie?
No, and that is the point. One reviewer said now she does not need two items to do her brows, and that having a cap on both ends keeps them from breaking off and keeps them clean.
Does it need sharpening?
Never. It is fully retractable. Twist up what you need, twist it back down, cap it, and drop it in your bag.
Will it look harsh or drawn on?
Not with the slanted tip and the spoolie. The tip lets you mimic natural brow strokes and build definition only where you want it, then the spoolie softens everything into the hair you already have.
Is it clean and hormone safe?
Yes. No synthetic dyes and no hormone disrupting ingredients. Color comes from mineral iron oxides and non-nano titanium dioxide, on a base of plant waxes and conditioning oils. Hand made and packaged in the USA.

Start by brushing your brows up and out with the built-in spoolie so you can see where hair is actually missing.
Fill
Use the slanted precision tip to lightly fill and shape with short, natural strokes. Build only where you want definition.
Blend
Flip back to the spoolie and blend to soften every edge. This is the step that keeps it from ever looking drawn on.
