Why Ozonation Works
Ozone (O₃) has been studied for over a century for its antimicrobial and skin-supporting properties. Here's how we infuse it into every jar, and why most brands cut corners.
What it is
Ozone is O₂ with one extra oxygen atom O₃. When infused into oil, it bonds with fatty acids creating ozonides within the oil. Making it a shelf stable ozonated product that's been used topically for skin concerns for years.*
How we do it
We use medical-grade ozone generators to infuse each oil for as long as it needs, depending on the oils fatty acid profile. Some oils take a few days while others require 1-2 weeks. This process preserves the oil's integrity while locking in activated oxygen at a therapeutic strength. Most brands rush this step, we take the extra time to ensure the highest quality oil goes into our products.
